You may be wondering what happened? Here was this interesting idea and then silence! Well, to be honest, we ended up getting a lot of very interesting feedback through our survey process which required analysis and then several other projects interrupted our progress. We still think this is a good idea worth pursuing and we plan to come back to it as soon as things calm down at United Effects (the parent company).
Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey. We definitely received some good feedback. The most important of which being that many of you think there is a value proposition in providing a service that helps reliably screen candidates for technical skills! One thing we learned through this process that we weren’t paying a great deal of attention to was the concept that corporate recruiters working full time in companies would need this service as much as recruiters working in staffing firms.
